Position Overview

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic and supportive clinical team. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping both children and adults improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive-linguistic skills. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to practice within a collaborative and innovative healthcare environment.

As an SLP at Stockton Health Group, you will have access to established referral streams, administrative support, and a modern clinic space equipped to support both in-person and virtual sessions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing assessments for pediatric and/or adult populations.
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other allied health professionals to provide coordinated and integrated patient care.
  • Maintain detailed clinical documentation and progress notes in accordance with professional and clinic standards.
  • Provide education, resources, and home programming to clients and families.
  • Offer community education, workshops, or group programming as appropriate.
  • Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
  • Current registration with the New Brunswick Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (NBASLPA).
  • Professional liability insurance in accordance with NBASLPA requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care.
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary setting is an asset.
