Speech Language Pathology
Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) play a vital role in helping individuals of all ages communicate, swallow, and participate fully in daily life. At Stockton Health Group, our Speech-Language Pathology services support children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of communication and feeding concerns in a warm, family-centred environment.

Our SLPs assess and treat difficulties related to:
-
Speech sound development and articulation
-
Language delays and disorders (understanding and expressing language)
-
Stuttering and fluency concerns
-
Voice disorders
-
Social communication skills
-
Feeding and swallowing difficulties
-
Cognitive-communication challenges following injury or illness

We work closely with families, caregivers, educators, and our integrated healthcare team to develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that fit each person’s goals, age, and environment. Therapy may include play-based approaches for children, functional communication strategies for school and work, and collaborative care alongside physiotherapy, occupational therapy, mental health, and primary care providers within our clinic.

At Stockton Health Group, our goal is to keep care local—providing high-quality speech and language services close to home, so individuals and families in Sussex and surrounding communities can access the support they need without traveling long distances.
If you have concerns about speech, language, voice, or swallowing, our team is here to help every step of the way.
